Nokia E63 review

Wisely, they have kept the important things as compared to its earlier models and in some cases even better. The key selling point of the E63 is its QWERTY keyboard, a slight up gradation over its predecessor, by the impression of being a few millimeters wide, with somewhat larger keys.
Luckily, surpassing even the keyboards like the BlackBerry by including quick access to the important features such as the full stop and the @ symbol.
Like the BlackBerry, is relatively easier to use email accounts (all that is needed is your email address and password) and can work with most popular email standards importantly Microsoft Exchange, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail and others, but not BlackBerry Connect.
Budget mode
The E63 looks a bit cheaper than the E71 as the plastic skin replaces the metal in the old phone. Despite the E63 being slightly thicker, it still manages to be a few grams lighter.
The micro USB port is present around the sides and a slot for MicroSD memory card, along with a headphone jack 3.5 mm at the top. But the volume buttons are absent and so are the voice notes button and the camera shutter.
The web browser is a no nonsense one, that does what it needs to do, and that too with minimal style, but delivers the results. Zoom, keywords search and address bar and can be accessed through shortcuts on the keypad and is a useful option to probe web pages into sections for easier navigation.
There's 3G web access, but not the speed of the E71 HSDPA connection but there are Wi-Fi that is accessible to broadband networks.
Overall
Must you buy an E63 or pay out a bit more and get an E71? This is a difficult decision and not jealous of those who are pressed to do so.
We suggest you take the E71 unless you find this new model somewhere for much cheaper price. Either way is a win-win. If you choose the E63 can expect the same excellent performance in a very smart terminal.
